The concept of Animism is funny, because Animism is probably the single most widespread model for percieving the world in human history, the concept itself, “Animism was only coined about 150 years ago by the Early cultural scholar Edward Burnett Tylor as a label for the most primitive and infantile stage of humanity – Today Animism is being taken back and many identify as animists, which is also kindof funny, because that is surely the first time ever, that people have thought of themselves as animist – I think this label animism is extremely usefull as a door a lense, a path into those ways that people back through the ages have built relation and upheld right relation with their lifeworld, because many of those ways have historically been rejected, pushed away from us and that is why we need concepts like Animism to find our way back.
